We hope everybody enjoyed the summer, but now it is time to get the Fall Auction Season going! We here at The Lodge Auction House have been super busy all summer consigning great items for our upcoming auctions! We are working diligently on these auctions now and look forward to the excitement of competitive bidding! Our first Online Auction of the Fall will take place Tuesday September 16 at 2:00 PM EST.
This auction features Toy Trains, Vintage Fisher Price Toys, Lenox Lamps, Model Ships, Britains Soldiers, Jewelry and Art.
This auction will be featuring many pieces from local Artist Enid Edelman. She painted extravagant acrylic on canvas abstract pieces. This is a large collection that would be a great addition to any serious buyer. The Artist's Statement reads as follows:
"I enjoy form, texture, motion, nature, color and the freedom to create something myself. I believe the abstract method of painting is the most expressive form. A painting is a personal reflection of one's being and emotions. Within the process of creating my artwork there is no right or wrong. I explore mixed media, including acrylics, charcoals and pastels. My style is non-representational/abstract expressionism. When selecting one of my pieces you can elect to hand it horizontally or vertically. I have traveled the world yet find much of my inspiration from my experiences growing up and living in Buffalo, NY."
Enid Edelman was a member of the following: Buffalo Niagara Art Association, Williamsville Art Society, Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society & Western New York Artists Group Gallery.
Enid Edelman did solo shows at: The Williamsville Art Society at Ashker’s Gallery, New Gallery at Amherst Senior Center, Bunis Gallery, Jewish Community Center, Golden Gallery, Amherst Town Hall, Spot Coffee, The Winery at Marjim Manor & Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital Hallway Gallery.
