This collection consists of fifteen ceramic pieces shaped as fish, primarily designed as gurgling pitchers and associated drinking vessels. The centerpiece of the group is a porcelain service set featuring a large fish-form pitcher and six matching miniature fish-form cups. This set is decorated with a white ground, underglaze blue scales, overglaze orange painted accents on the fins and eyes, and gold gilding on the rims. The style and palette are characteristic of mid-20th-century Eastern European porcelain production, such as that from the Polonne or Lomonosov factories.
