1998 Barbie Collectibles doll was released by Mattel to commemorate the 50th anniversary of NASCAR (1948–1998). The doll is constructed of vinyl with rooted long blonde hair and painted blue stationary eyes. She is dressed in an original blue fabric racing jumpsuit featuring an embroidered 50th Anniversary NASCAR logo on the chest and screen-printed sponsor logos for Coca-Cola, STP, and Hot Wheels. Accessories include a matching blue fabric racing cap with the anniversary logo and a molded blue and yellow plastic racing helmet with a movable visor. According to the packaging, the set includes shoes, jewelry, a doll stand, and a Certificate of Authenticity. The display box features a race track background with an image of driver Kyle Petty and is decorated with a black and white checkered flag motif. The packaging is marked with product number 20442.
